Individual EFT sessions

(in the words of my clients)

What are individual EFT sessions like?

'Lauren begins by gently getting to know your background and what you’re currently struggling with. From there, she guides you through a process called tapping, where she shows you specific acupressure points and taps alongside you as you begin. Throughout the session, Lauren will ask thoughtful questions or make statements for you to respond to as this helps bring underlying emotions or beliefs to the surface. She then guides you through repeating statements that acknowledge your pain or trauma, helping you process and release it from your system. It can be a very emotional and vulnerable experience, but also incredibly freeing. Lauren has an amazing intuition and a real gift for knowing exactly what to say to help you feel seen, supported, and safe throughout the process' - Alexandra.

'You can fully let go and allow yourself to safely explore what’s underneath the surface at a deeper level. I explain to my friends like it’s kind of like it just happens without thinking about it and it’s so freeing. Hard, but freeing. It’s like the tapping and combined with your words just open it all up' - Caitlin.

(Individual EFT sessions help you make) 'sense of patterns within yourself, awareness to why are we are the way we are, how childhood can shape feelings, emotions and thoughts. How to release and feel these emotions freely' - Katie.

'Amazing work that helps you connect in with your body and how it feels, helps you uncover parts of you you might not know are there and be kind to yourself' - Jess.

How can individual EFT sessions help me?

'Tapping has helped me understand behaviour within myself that stem from childhood, why I feel things in certain ways and also how to let go of stuck emotions' - Katie

'From the end of my very first session, it felt like a physical and emotional weight had been lifted. It was the first time in a long while that I experienced a genuine sense of relief and clarity. EFT has given me practical tools to not only process and understand some deeply rooted traumas, but also to release them and move forward in a way that feels both empowering and sustainable. Over time, I’ve noticed a significant shift in how I respond to emotional triggers; I’m more grounded, less reactive, and better equipped to manage stress and anxiety in everyday life'- Alexandra.

'Lauren helped me uncover/realise things I wasn't aware of, helped me connect in with my body' - Jess

'They have helped me work through some big past traumas that had been weighing myself down for so many years and causing triggers in some aspects of my life right now. I started to get very anxious again experiencing massive anxiety attacks - re-starting (individual EFT sessions) again helped massively with being able to work through these things to allow myself to feel more at ease. Overall, I just feel more calm, present and grounded within myself when I’m doing EFT sessions' - Caitlin.

What is the best thing about EFT or individual sessions?

'Lauren! Someone you can be completely open and honest with and not feel any judgement at all. Someone genuine and so understanding and comforting in times that can be so emotional and hard to go into' - Katie.

'What I enjoyed most was seeing and feeling real progress. The sessions led to noticeable improvements in how I cope day to day, and the positive changes have had a meaningful impact on my overall well-being' - Alexandra

'What I enjoy the most is feeling safe in the space and with Lauren. I know while it all comes up it may be hard, but I know that each time I’m in that room I’m working towards a more healed and happy me. EFT is the first professional help I have received in my life time that has actually worked & I’ve seen progress with. It feels very individualised when I go in there and I am made to feel like what we work on together is actually important to us both and that makes me feel safe' - Caitlin

'Lauren's compassion and on point questions that helped get to places I never knew existed' - Jess.

What is EFT/Tapping?

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or tapping) is a mind-body technique that calms the body, reduces stress and helps regulate emotions. It is evidence-based and combines acupuncture and psychology.

Individuals tap on their own acupoints on the upper body (the same points used in traditional acupuncture) while focusing on a specific emotion, belief, problem or event.
